Verruckt was added on 11 June 2026. It is the asylum remake. The name is German for crazy. Map XP is 120 percent. Zombies can start sprinting on wave 2, which is earlier than a normal first map.
How the building is split
There are two spawns, a German side and an American side, divided by an electric door. The door opens when the power switch is on. Solo play spawns you on one side. German weapons are on one side and American weapons on the other.
Open the machine
The map reference and the June 2026 videos describe the same machine, in two levels of detail.
- Turn on power.
- Find Pack-a-Punch. It is on the bottom or top floor of the side you spawned on, in the staircase beside a barrier. It is not a single fixed room every game.
- Find the battery. Players report it beside Quick Revive, in the side room on the Quick Revive side, or near Mule Kick by the window and stairs. It is not one spawn.
- Charge it at the laser or electric trap. The map page says to stay close while the trap is on. Video steps say to get 30 kills with that trap. One walkthrough says the count is exactly 30. The trap can down you. Do not stand in it.
- Install the charged battery on the machine, then hold interact to Pack-a-Punch for 5,000 points.
The badge Charged and Ready is earned by activating Pack-a-Punch on Verruckt.
Crouch points work on this map. Flamethrower is a strong crowd gun here and the flame effect blocks vision. Wonderfizz is on the map.
Teddy bear
A 15 June 2026 video shows a small teddy bear step after the battery is installed. The creator's description says it pays one Max Ammo. A later comment from that creator says doing the toilet step, reaching round 20 with no perks, and then using the bear is tied to a badge that pays a Perkaholic and a Max Ammo. Another comment says the toilet count is unreliable. Treat that reward as a creator-found badge route, not as a listed price.
A reply from the Reminiscence Zombies YouTube account under a 14 June 2026 Verruckt video said a performance issue was known and that Origins was still being worked on. Origins is not a playable map in the current catalog.
An earlier Mini-Verruckt was discussed by players as removed before this full map. Do not look for a separate Mini-Verruckt queue.
